Our annual STAC Awards Evening took place at the Barnbow pub, bringing members together to celebrate another outstanding year for the club.
The night recognised the major achievements of 2025, including honours from the Club Championship, the ever-competitive parkrun league, the Terry Midgley Award, and many more performances that defined the year. As ever, it wasn’t all about results and times — the awards also captured the character of the club, with lighter moments such as Best WhatsApp Comment and the Navigation Award earning plenty of laughs.
A huge thank you goes to Wanda, whose organisation ensured the evening ran smoothly, and to Sam, who stepped up as compère and promptly raised expectations for all future awards nights. His presentation set a new (and possibly unreasonable) standard.
