The 7th club race of the year was at the inaugural Ilkley half-marathon.
All reports are of a great event; well organised with things to do in the events village and a great scenic root.
9 STAC runners took part on a hot summers day with Ian Sheppard finishing an impressive 39th out of a field of 1627.
In the club championship, Sarah Morley retakes the lead in the ladies despite not racing (as it’s now based on best 5 rather than best 4), but it’s incredibly close with Sarah 1684 points, Tillie Clark 1683 and Sam Jackson 1681.
Whilst in the men’s Richard Herrington leads with Ian Sheppard cementing 2nd position above Glenn Johnson.
Andrew Gardner is now the only runner who has ran all races this year.
