Track Restoration

\Temple Newsam running track is a great asset to our running club and the local community. Sadly it has fallen into disrepair over the years.

Crossgates Harriers and ourselves have begun restoring the track to its former state. There have been a series of tidying days since summer 2023 and now we're trying to raise funds to pay a contractor to resurface the track.

We are also putting on the Track Restoration Fund 10k race on the 29th September in Temple Newsam.

Information on the track and clearing / fundraising raising progess is regularly updated on the Temple Newsam Track Facebook page.

Sign-up or Vounteer for the Track Restoration Fund 10k open for entry now on Racebest. To volunteer please complete this form (between Crossgates and ourselves should be enough volunteers so feel free to run!)

Help with the track tidy These are periodically on a Saturday morning after parkrun, no experience / tools needed and if you can only spend an hour that's great. When we're doing them will be communicated on STAC and track Facebook groups and the STAC calendar

Spread the word Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
