BACK TO ‘SUMMER’ MEETING POINT THIS WEEK – 6:30pm at corner of main field at Temple Newsam, near to the mini-roundabout.

BEGINNER’S CLASS STARTING THIS WEEK – There has been a call for helpers from Karen on Facebook, so all your assistance is most welcome. Please arrive a little bit earlier so we can welcome everyone. There will be a session as normal for members who wish to train, see below.

LONG HILLS

Using SH5 – North Plantation Climb from Stuart’s STAC hill challenge.

Jog to start of hill for warm up.

Hard HALFWAY uphill. Steady back to bottom (not too slow, downhill effort should only be a bit longer in duration than uphill)

Short rest at start

Hard ALL THE WAY uphill. Steady back to bottom (not too slow, downhill effort should only be a bit longer in duration than uphill)

Hard ALL THE WAY  uphill to finish.

Elites can add extra rep or run back to support slower runners. Light jog recovery and cool down stretches.
