Peter’s Session. It’s another ‘contrived’ fartleck session. Fartleck is Swedish for ‘speedplay’. The whole session should be one continuous run. Your faster bursts should not be so fast as to have to have a walk recovery. Your recovery should, ideally, be a slower run.
Warm up.
On the big field in front of the house.
Start close to parkrun start. Jog to mulberry bush copse. ( that’s over near the far corner of the House). Race pace plus to top copse, jog to next copse down, hard back to start. Jog to Mulberry bush, hard to second copse down, jog to third copse down, hard back to start. Jog to mulberry bush copse, hard to third copse down, jog to fourth copse down, hard to start. Jog to mulberry bush copse, hard to fourth copse down, jog down following fence to path, hard up to the start. Begin it all again!
Cool down back to car park.
