Its that time of year again! We are now looking towards planning for the Leeds Country Way relay on the 31st August 2014. I know its early but it does take a lot of organising, so I am asking for people who are interested in taking part.
Each leg is between 9.5 and 11.5 miles. If we can get the teams organised early enough we plan to have some kind of structure in place for everyone to’ recci’ their leg at least once before the day. Last year we almost had 3 full teams, it would be fantastic if we could have as many this year. All runners will be paired up with someone of their own ability, and it is a fun day finishing with a beer or 3 at the finish in Garforth, usually at The Podger.
Further information is available on the Kippax Harriers Website.
If you’re interested in running it please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or get in touch with the captains Nicki Coop or Paul Ebrey on a club night or through Facebook.
